Statistical Literacy Survey: Reading Tables and Graphs

Organizer: Milo Schield, Augsburg College, ASA, schield@augsburg.edu

Teachers, workers, citizens and students AT ALL LEVELS are needed -- and are warmly invited -- to participate in a survey of opinions on describing rates, percentages, and associations, as found in everyday tables and graphs. This survey will take about 30 minutes.

The results of this survey will be compared against the results of the same survey already completed in the US. The results of these two surveys will serve as an international baseline for statistical literacy and will be used to shape the goals and topics in statistical literacy education.
The results of this survey will be posted on www.StatLit.org.

This survey is sponsored by the Augsburg College W. M. Keck Statistical Literacy Project, an official ICOTS-6 statistical literacy sponsor.
