Summary of Daily Activities

General Schedule

All events take place in the Holiday Inn Cape Town, mainly on the second and third floors, which house the main Conference Centre.
Registration will be in the foyer on the 3rd floor.
The Internet Cafe will be on the 1st floor, and will operate from about 08:00 - 19:00 each day.
Speakers Prep room (Franschoek, 3rd floor) will be open 08:00 - 17:00 for the duration of the conference.
Shuttles will run from the Holiday Inn Waterfront and de Waal Drive to the Holiday Inn Cape Town before and after the conference sessions/functions.

Accompanying Persons' Schedule

A message from the LOC regarding participation of accompanying person in the scientific sessions:

As a rule the organizing committee does not allow any one into a meeting room that is not wearing a delegate badge. The monitoring of this is not fanatical as it is not normally a problem. On the odd occasion that an accompanying person has wanted to listen to his/her partner presenting then we have always made an exception and will happily do so at ICOTS. If an accompanying person wants to attend many or all sessions then they are expected to register as a full delegate. Once the congress has started, the hotel security monitors entry into the venue by checking the badges worn by the participants.
